Just wanted to give a shout out to Joe, Troy and everyone at Evergreen who took care of our claim for hail damage to our roof.
The insurance company was being a pain - but Joe and his crew kept on it until insurance finally approved the claim. Once approved, the folks at Evergreen handled the replacement of the roof, siding, and window wraps as absolute pros.
Work was impeccable, the guys doing the work were professional, and clean up was immaculate! (I still haven't come across a single nail!) Moreover, during the process, Joe and Troy were super responsive to all of our questions regardless of time of day etc.
Would most definitely recommend Evergreen to anyone looking to replace their roof or any other home improvement job. They will take care of you!!

“Wow” is all I can say. Professionalism at its best. Evergreen did my roof 5 years ago- I noticed a leak during a rain storm one recently. I called- they answered! Although I feel they would have come that evening, I asked about the next day. Antti arrived, heard my concerns and discovers cracks in my chimney (photos included). He explained so many things, addressed all my concerns and did what he could to help to ensure my home was as safe as it could be until I could get chimney company out to fix it. I made the best choice 5 years ago and would 10/10 recommend again! You don’t get service like this often!

We were very satisfied with our experience working with Evergreen. They were responsive, flexible, friendly and yet professional from start to finish - all without a hint of pressure (they didn’t mind at all that we put off doing the job from late fall to spring - and even agreed that it made sense to get another winter out of the old roof). Oh, and the new roof looks great - they got the complex Dutch colonial shingling done a bit better than the last roofers (also probably worth mentioning that we have yet to find a single stray roofing nail anywhere in the lawn or flowerbeds - neighbors who have landscaping very near the lot line were also impressed).

Evergreen has a management company as well with which I don't think they give a darn about because the person that they have as manager of Ashley Ridge Apts in Burgaw is mentally unstable, morally corrupt and worthless at her job. She is gonna get someone killed or hurt really bad. She is late all the time and not just 10 or 15 min. Hours late and then leaves early. There is no confidentiality She will tell one resident about what another said and there were guns drawn in this particular incident. She is a huge liability to anyone who has her employed with them.

Wow! is what I would describe working with Evergreen Construction Company to replace my storm damaged roof. I have found them to be very professional and top notch in the industry. From the initial contact to the completion of the job, working with Jared as my account manager who was very informative, responsive, and supportive throughout the process to the skilled 8 person crew who were in and out in less than a day and a half on a 5000 sq. ft two story home without sacrificing quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, as well as the very end post cleanup by Max to ensure no nails and demolition materials were left behind. The result is a beautiful and standout roof! This is my second time using Evergreen construction. Each time they are very professional and have been great with their work. They are very thorough and especially with the cleaning up process. They are very responsive as well, I called them numerous times for questions and they always answer my call. The first time they did my roof and this time I had them do the siding replacement. They did a great job. The result really make my house like brand new and added more value. Jured was the contact person that I always call and He's great. I hope all businesses has someone like him.

The work they did was not good at all. The day of installation I noticed the first and huge problem. They removed a cupola on my garage. They never replaced the boards they put shingles only over a hole about 15 inches long and 10 inches wide. I noticed that and posted it on social media. The owner came the next day and fixed it. I also had a neighbor that complained about them leaving lots of nails in his yard. Finally I got out of the medical boot I was in and looked at the roof. They didn't do all of the work on my contract and I had to get the building inspector to come back. I had to Finally fire Evergreen Construction as I feel they were the absolute worst. I finished the work with someone else. They deserve a zero.

Evergreen did an excellent job with my roof replacement. They showed up when they said they would, completed the job, including the cleanup, on schedule, and helped me with the insurance. Evergreen Construction Company was very responsive from start to finish. I was kept informed via phone calls, texts, and emails. Despite the challenge of the material shortage, the roof was installed in a two-week window. They were on-time and proficient. The follow-up has also been impressive, to include coming back to the house and doing a loop through the yard with magnets to find nails and scrap. I'm very happy with my new roof!

Just wanted to share with everyone our appreciation to Evergreen Construction on a job well done. We had a hail storm hit our house roof in June. We contacted Evergreen to possibly giving us an estimate to put new shingles on our house. Joe came out promptly and helped us work through the process. Within a couple of weeks the shingles were delivered. The old removed and new put on - all in one long day. The workmen were efficient and courteous. Evergreen Construction and its entire team are fantastic! On August 2020 we had a golf-size hail storm causing damage to our roof and siding. We knew we were in great hands nfrom the beginning. Antti was there the next morning checking on us. He inspected the roof to confirm the damage and noticed also that the hail had damaged the siding. He was there with us all the way from the first moments, helping through the insurance claim process, selection of materials, repairs and final touch-ups to make sure no detail was overlooked. Joe, the owner of Evergreen, was also available all the time and checked with us frequently during the whole process making sure everything was going smoothly. He encouraged us to be “picky” and to point out any little detail we were not happy with. Their roof and siding crews were professional and did a great job. This was a big project for us: of course, the entire roof had to be replaced but the siding was also a challenge. The original siding color was no longer available, which gave us an opportunity to rethink how we wanted the house to look like. It turned out fantastic. We strongly recommend Evergreen Construction to anybody considering on doing a roof or siding repair.

We had a clogged downspout. Even though it was a small project, and Evergreen was very busy and booked out, they made time in their schedule to come take care of our problem. The blockage was caused by too many angles in the downspout just below the roof line. We now have a better configuration’! All the personnel I had contact with was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! I would definitely recommend this company!

Evergreen Construction handled our Insurance claim perfectly. We are extremely pleased with their professional communication and excellent work. Our roof and gutters turned out above and beyond our expectations. In addition, they provided tedious attention to our properly and the clean up process. We used Evergreen Construction to replace our roof and full siding after a severe hail storm. There were several vendors in and around our neighborhood after the storm and we chose Evergreen because they were local and straight forward with their services and costs.
The full roof replacement was completed is less than one day with all vents and venting pipes painted to match the new architectural shingles and clean up of all roofing debris around the house.
Our siding was completely replaced and finished in less than two days.
Antti Laaksonen was our Sr. Project Lead and helped us immensely in dealing with our insurance company. He worked with us in changing the design of our siding and always got back to us within the day if we had any questions. A joy to work with and very professional/dependable.
Jackson was on sight during the roofing and siding processes to make sure everything was done correctly and to our satisfaction.
Our house looks wonderful. I would recommend Evergreen as a contractor, especially for the services and work we needed. It was a very stress free process with outstanding results.

The house looks great! The hail had done a number on the exterior. It took awhile to be completed, as there were tens of thousands of homes affected by the storm and many had a lot more damage and took priority. I also had a few problems with the appraiser’s inspection and my homeowners insurance. In the end, everything was cleared up and fixed as promised. Joe was very easy to work with and I referred my Mom to use Evergreen on
her storm damaged roof. That turned out nicely as well.

The staff at Evergreen was great. Good communication via email and text. The work crew showed up on-time, worked hard, and got the job done. There was even a clean-up crew that swept my property for nails.
The city inspector came out. Her comment was "They did just great work, very high quality". Always great to get that 3rd party assurance of a job well done. Thanks Evergreen Construction!

I was introduced to Evergreen, Joe, through an insurance claim necessitated by a recent windstorm blowing shingles off of my roof. Joe came out and performed an inspection right away, navigating a very steep roof pitch where the damage occurred. Joe walked me through the entire inspection as he was on the roof, pointing out areas of concern, etc... Given the overall damage was relatively minor, Joe proposed repairing the damaged shingles (requiring less than a single bundle of new shingles) as opposed to pushing me into having the entire section of the roof replaced.
A single member from Joe's crew came out a week later and had the roof repaired in a few hours. The crew member was very friendly, showed me pictures on his phone of all of the damaged areas, and even went so far as to show me pictures of the actual step by step repair process he underwent...all with a smile on his face despite a very cold day and a frost-covered roof. I highly recommend Evergreen for their quality of work, exceptional communication, promptness, and top-notch staff!!!

We had our roof recently replaced by Evergreen construction. I could not be any happier about the whole process from start to finish. The owner and staff are professional and responsive. They carry shingles from different manufacturers. The roof was done on time and the clean up afterwards was immaculate. I highly recommend Evergreen!.

We had a first-rate experience with Joe and his team. Great communication from the estimate through to job completion.
At the end of the process, we had an issue with some debris in our attic after the shingles were installed and the crew had left. I let Joe know about it and he had the issue resolved within a day. Great customer service and a commitment to meeting a customer’s expectations.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use Evergreen again!

We learned of Evergreen through our insurance company, and we've been nothing but impressed. In addition to managing through the claim process, each of the folks at Evergreen took great care to answer our questions and tailored their guidance to resolve the damages to our property. The office staff organized the work impressively, and the on-site team that did the work was exceptional. In addition to finishing the job efficiently, the clean-up was top-notch. I recommend their services without hesitation.

Joe Hahs is very professional and takes the time to answer any questions you have no matter how busy he is. The crew doing the work was amazing, the work area was never messy and they stayed at the job until completed, which they did in one day. A follow up inspection of roof and grounds was done the next day ensuring everything was to our satisfaction.

I had an issue, how they handled it made me a customer for life. Very timely response and very fair solution . How this company acts when a customer has an issue is really what separates Evergreen from all the rookie construction companies out there. They have done two roofs and some siding for me, they will continue to be the only call I make for this type of work.

Evergreen updated the exterior of our house with new siding, roof, and selected windows and doors after we incurred hail damage. Joe and Antti worked with the insurance company to handle the claim process. We also decided to make some long overdue updates of our sliding glass doors, garage doors, and another window at the same time. The quality of the materials and the work was amazing - beyond what we were expecting when we started the repair process and interviewing contractors. Joe worked with us to add higher quality window trim at a very reasonable price, and it looks great. Evergreen didn’t just replace the siding and roof, they worked with us to make quality updates and enhancements to the outside of our house (at very good prices). They worked around our schedule to do all of the work while we were away from home. The cleanup was very thorough, and they followed up with us multiple times to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We will definitely use Evergreen for future projects.

We used Evergreen Summer of 2018. We were very impressed with the quality of service and time spent with us to ensure a smooth process. 2 years later and we couldn't be more happy. Our neighbors used different roofing company's and see they have had to call out for more repairs due to leaks. We are thankful we used Evergreen. As a big DIY-guy, I got a little over my head with a garage build. I called Evergreen to help, and we quickly worked through some options. 48 hours later, my roof was installed and I could not be happier. We used Evergreen Construction to replace the shingles on our roof in July of 2019 and were very happy with the process from the bid, to help with insurance claim, and the final project. The crew is very efficient, cleaned up every little piece of the old roofing material, protected our plants, and were very respectful. We have a large roof and they finished in ONE DAY! Several of our neighbors have since used them for roof projects and all are happy with their experience!

Evergreen is AWESOME! Our house had damage from a major hail storm, and we had to replace our siding, roof and garage doors. In the short amount of time we have worked with Evergreen, Joe and his team have been easy to communicate with and have a strong emphasis on customer service. We have worked directly with Joe, Antti and Adam and all have been very responsive and willing to take time with us as needed. Evergreen finished our siding in just under 2 days (removal of old / replacement with new) and it looks GREAT! I would defiantly recommend Evergreen to anyone needing general contracting work done.
