Evergreen Construction Company, Inc restored a hail-damaged property in Victoria, MN. We restored the damaged roof, siding, gutters and repainted the front of the house and the garage doors as well.
This project was time-sensitive as we had to finish the entire project within the designated time because the homeowners were selling the property. Evergreen came across a huge challenge of structural damage which had to be fixed immediately. The water damage compromised the structural integrity of the porch siding. We as a responsible contractor took some preventative measures and had the city inspector inspect the damage. So as advised by the city inspector and to bring the property up to code, we had to repair the structural damage before we could proceed any further in the project.
Why did the homeowner hire us?
The homeowner hired us based on our experience and work ethic. We had previously completed twelve different projects in their neighborhood which helped us earn their referral as well. The homeowners were sure of our workmanship and had no doubts at all. They knew that we would deliver more than their expectations and we succeeded.
Our objective was to replace the full roofing and siding of the property in Victoria, MN. We fixed the water damage up to code making sure it does not happen again. We made sure to stand by our mission statement of under-promising and overdelivering.
We replaced the roof with GAF Timberline Shakewood and the siding with Alside vinyl Charter Oak Tuscan Clay. James Hardie flat edge shakes replaced the vinyl shakes on the high gable peak adding curb appeal. Board and batten replaced the original lap siding around the oval window of the house. Regular aluminum gutters replaced the original gutters.
The homeowners got an opportunity to change their siding color due to the discontinuation of the original siding color. With the help of our expert salesperson’s judgment, Evergreen helped them choose the new siding color. Scheduling for this job was one of the biggest challenges that Evergreen faced. The water damage in the porch siding was not discovered until it was removed which added a couple of days in the scheduling. We could not proceed until the inspector inspected the property damage delaying the overall project.
We completed the full siding within two days. To ensure zero damage during gutters and downspouts installation, we waited for the paint to completely dry out. We also had to custom bend flashing for the porch, taking off and reattaching each piece of tongue and groove CeDur inside the porch. This was done as a preventive measure for future water damage.
Despite all the challenges and hurdles, Evergreen Construction completed another successful project. The unexpected challenges only made our project unique allowing us to prove our professionalism and quality workmanship.
